ALMAC was established in 2005. It stands for American Legion Military Appreciation Celebration.
We support the troops overseas fighting for our Country. Annually we host a benefit to raise money to purchase basic needs items to send to the troops in handmade Christmas stockings.
This benefit is supported by not just our community but also by large corporations. Auctions and raffles are held throughout the day with items that have been donated.
A full homemade BBQ meal is served and live bands play throughout the day. Children and an occasional adult also enjoy the bouncehouse.
Our honored guests include a bus of Veterans from Ft. Worth that arrive with a motorcycle escort.
This benefit is not a secret anymore and welcomes your support.
